🌻【 The Psychology and Mental Health Fair 2025 Has Concluded Successfully!】

Organized by the Hong Kong Society of Psychological Innovation (HKSPI), this year's Psychology and Mental Health Fair took place successfully on July 19, 2025, at Central Market! 😆 Although the originally two-day event was shortened to one day due to weather conditions, thanks to the understanding and support of all guests, partners, and participants, the fair was still able to wrap up smoothly.

The HKSPI Psychology and Mental Health Fair partners with Mind HK. Along with support from the Hong Kong Psychological Society, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Mental Health Collaboration Platform of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Department of Social Work and Social Administration of the University of Hong Kong, we presented a variety of activities in collaboration with other organizations. 🫶🏻

The fair commenced with a grand opening ceremony, inviting individuals from various sectors to kick off this journey of mental exploration. 👏 It featured diverse workshops and panels, extensive networking opportunities with psychologists from different fields, and over 20 NGO showcases, alongside cutting-edge mental health technology, interactive displays, and engaging game stalls. The event featured Ms. Grace Chan as a special guest on the main stage, where she shared her insights on child psychology. Attendees also heard a powerful testimony from a survivor of the 2017 MTR arson attack, who opened up about her resilience and recovery journey. Additionally, MINDSET The Jardine Matherson Group Charity partnered with us to host a panel on workplace resilience, further advancing our shared mission to promote youth psychological well-being.

The "FLOWER Project🌼", launched by HKSPI, was a key highlight of this year’s event. This initiative is Hong Kong’s first technology-driven psychoeducation program for secondary schools, addressing suicide prevention and hollistic wellbeing. Aligning with the FLOWER project, this year’s fair adopted the theme “Back to School”, featuring a variety of innovative technologies and interactive mental health games. Throughout these activities, the Psychology and Mental Health Fair 2025 has greatly deepened the understanding of psychology and mental health among people of all ages, while raising awareness about youth mental well-being. The event also featured crowd-favourite virtual reality (VR) experiences that allowed participants to step into a student's perspective, observe classmates' emotional states, and learn how to identify and respond to different situations. Additionally, interactive tablet games combined education with entertainment, which players advanced through levels by answering psychology-related questions, making learning both engaging and enjoyable. During the event, many attendees enthusiastically participated in the activities and generously donated to support the FLOWER Project. The funds raised will be used to enhance mental health services for secondary school students in Hong Kong, ensuring they receive accessible and effective psychological support🍀.

The Hong Kong Society of Psychological Innovation sincerely thanks all guests, partners, and participants for their collaboration, which made the fair a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the near future to continue contributing to mental health in Hong Kong. 💪🏻
