About Us

HKSPI
Hong Kong Society of Psychological Innovation
Founded in 2020 as the Hong Kong Joint School Society of Psychology, the Hong Kong Society of Psychological Innovation (HKSPI) is a forward-thinking registered nonprofit organization.
Our diverse team consists of clinical and educational psychologists, business and technology consultants, psychology students and graduates from prestigious institutions like the Ivy League and Oxbridge. HKSPI is dedicated to promoting mental health and psychological literacy in Hong Kong through innovative approaches.
Rebranded in 2025 to reflect our mission of innovation,
HKSPI uses creative and non-traditional strategies,
such as technology, interactive games, and community fairs, to make psychology accessible, engaging, and impactful.
We aim to introduce new concepts and frameworks
inspired by global models and our own innovative efforts,
fostering mental health awareness and well-being across all age groups, with a special focus on youth empowerment.
As a non-profit organization, we are committed to breaking barriers, challenging traditional approaches, and building a more inclusive and resilient society rooted in evidence-based psychological principles.
PALHK
Psychological Alliance London Hong Kong C.I.C.
The Psychological Alliance London HK (PALHK) C.I.C. is a youth-led organisation founded in 2025 and registered in the UK. Affiliated with the Hong Kong Society of Psychological Innovation (HKSPI), our team of clinicians and psychology graduates share the lived experience of navigating dual-cultural identities.
Our mission is to connect with and support the British Hong Kong community through two main pathways.
-
Firstly, we are committed to providing academic support to empower psychology students and early-career professionals as they pursue their careers in the UK. We recognise the unique challenges that racial minorities face, particularly within academia and professional environments, and aim to address these barriers.
Secondly, we focus on community wellbeing by collaborating with psychologists and local community partners to provide culturally sensitive resources. Our goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and increase accessibility to support systems within the British Hong Kong community.
At PALHK, we believe in bridging cultures, empowering futures; we aspire to inspire.
